Today let me introduce you to Robyn Sisman the author our first book Giveaway...

Robyn Sisman was born in Los Angeles, but lived in Illinois, Geneva, Oxford, and Munich as a child. She worked as an au pair, an English teacher in Ethiopia and then finally as a secretary in publishing - from where she worked her up to a glittering career - before changing it all and becoming a mother and bestselling novelist. I have more books than bookshelf space. Books are everywhere; jammed into cupboards, stacked on the floor, packed away in boxes. And then there are all the books that are at other people's homes. I cringe when someone shows up with a bag of books they want to return! Books have become art in my home. They are included in vignettes and used to create a statement. Anyone walking in to my house just needs to read the titles of my books to know a lot about me. My favorite stack of books is the stack of lovely words I haven't read yet. I tend to get a little bit nervous when that stacks starts to dwindle. I have so many favorite books but being asked to choose 5 favorites, today I chose these:

Five (plus one) Favorites

1. The Seat of the Soul: my guide book to life.
2. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and the following two book: I have mad love for Lisbeth.
3. The Witching Hour by Anne Rice: I read it every year or two.
4. The Help: an excellent new book and first novel for the author.
5. Dictionary of Quotations
6. I know you asked me for 5 books but I have to include all my cookbooks. I read them all the time!

"This is my favorite place to read and study. My porch is an extension of the inside so it is also my favorite room.  It's quiet and peaceful. I can see my gardens from here and watch the hummingbirds come and go. I can also watch Iris chase butterflies or nap in the sun. I think the best part about it is that it's sheltered so I can enjoy it year round, no matter what the weather is."
